That’s the problem with their mentality if it was that anyway

    Common
    Tip
    Pusha

never needed to be hot, they were established acts already without Ye. He should’ve just focused on doubling down on their brand & career path

He chose the wrong youth part is definitely where he messed up as well

    What are you talking about.

Pusha just dropped a number 1 off the strength of his ties to Ye and Pharrell.

    Common is a movie star.

    Tip was barely even GOOD.

These niggas is old and barely making music anyway. How does Ye tie into they’re careers atp. Like Ye should keep old niggas hot for 20 years. What label does that?

Ya really just be in here saying anything lmao

you don’t understand what I’m saying man

I’m saying he NEVER HAD to keep “old niggas” hot because they never lost it. If that was his approach then that was a huge mistake

They are great in their respected lanes & that was even without Ye, all Ye had to do was help double down on that instead of “trying to make them hot”

    & Who’s barely making music?
Common dropped an whole album last year & Q Tip was just on Robert Glaspers album this year

music section been acting weird af lately

cudi, big sean are the wrong youth?

Nah I’m referring to the newer signees

Bro what you’re saying is nonsense lmao

Double down on what? What does that even mean?

Common had his moment and moved on. Nigga barely makes music in general. How are you even adding Ye to his equation in 2022.
Push solo career got maxed out due to that Ye connection. He’s doing great right now.

Tip was barely even GOOD. Had a little moment and that’s it. He barely even drops. Tip a legend. I’m pretty sure he can go damn near anywhere if he wanted.

These are not names you bring up in 2022 to say GOOD should be better. These niggas don’t even need the label and still ain’t doing s*** in music for a while. It’s about building youth.

Ergo ol boy got my good graces after he f***ed up the first time but I guess he couldn’t let it go, &now he finna get him and who ever feels inclined to stick up for him beat the f*** ktt style jus on principle of being b**** made.

& if it’s not that serious idk why u took the time to suggest an apology nor why you ddnt demand an apology for me being called a junky :,(, you think this preferential treatment is gonna cause less hate in my heart :(?…Well ur right, that’s sun beta male/ @AwakeFainted type s***.

    First off,
just cause YOU don’t check for them doesn’t mean these “old niggas” aren’t working. I just pointed out recent efforts from them easily

    Second,
How do you not add Ye to the equation if you are literally suppose to be signed to him? how am I wrong for thinking that he should play a part in the overall brand of the artist on that label & the label itself? Does he pulls all the business strings? No but it was very evident he was involved heavily in the creative process & branding of his signees when doing collective efforts

They all were power houses on their own which was & still could’ve been elevated together. that’s literally all I’m saying & you trynna play me like I’m dumb

Good was great cause it was a blend of new talent AND legacy talent. Loosing that quality hurt them, it was never just about the youth

  • gay shoes

    Did he fr?

Dude was so ill man, he could have been on top of the game if he signed literally with anyone else besides Ye smh

yeah he’s been independent for his last couple releases

These niggas are actually NOT signed to GOOD and haven’t been since before 2010 chief. So equating Ye to them musically is ridiculous. He in fact DID help build they’re brands n s*** when they were with him. It’s literally 2022. There is no way he should still be doubling down on multiple 50-60 year olds b.

Only one still signed is Push and he’s overachieving.

John Legend, Cudi, Big Sean, Teyana were the youth when s*** was hot. Common too. Nigga BE like 20 years ago lmfao

It’s legit 2022. He got no new lineup of young niggas competing with that and that’s the issue. Not trying to keep the old timers hot lmfao

exactly GOOD only helped you via the Kanye cosign and visibility, it seems like after that it was up to the artist to 'get it' on their own basically

imagine how hard it is to get ahold of kanye, probably so frustrating and played a role in every fall out situation

when you have a lot of kids its hard for the parents to give them ALL attention. think about how many people kanye has used for one album and tossed aside to work with new people
