Idk. I cant listen to a dude just rapping. One of the reason a migga like Kendrick, 2Pac, Wayne, Jay etc. will be better than a nigga like Lupe, Blu, them Em clones etc.

I like bars & "deep Rap" too but i also need some MUSIC & liveliness as well. When you get a balance of both thats when its goat s*** imo.

Only people I can listen to in that vein is like Gangstarr & I guess Jay Electronica is he counts as that.

I respect it tho.

Great beats and unique lyrical themes with some great flows and catchy hooks sprinkled in.

What's there not to like

First Things First is one of the realest songs of all time

Personally I never understood the hype for this project honestly lol like it's cool but people really be putting it on a pedestal of being god's greatest gift to rap music and I'm like...it's just aight?

Ion know I just prefer Jesus, York, Her Favorite Colo(u)r, and Bad Neighbor much more.
