I mostly did mean in terms of entertainment/media, that's why I mentioned the things I did and phrased the title the way I did. Bad s*** happens every year, but when people discuss their favorite years, it's usually entertainment and media that's mentioned

That’s what I’m saying though lol. When we think back to certain times, it’s almost always reflected by the culture rather than issues. Sometimes the issues become a part of the culture (2001 always gonna be linked to 9/11, the 60’s always gonna be linked to Civil Rights). But there are many years and decades that are remembered more so for their art than for their problems.
