Bro 2K in 2005 is a MUCH different company than 2K in 2020. That's like EA in 2005 was a much better company than it's 2020 self. You can't compare them. If it's not the basketball game 2k doesn't really care. That's why people aren't excited about a non-simulated football game.

You’re not wrong, but in the case of WWE 2K20, I feel that may be more on Yuke’s than it is on 2K. I mean look at the insane difference in overall quality between NBA 2K20 and WWE 2K20. It’s like 2 completely different companies.

They're both terrible. One is worst than the other but 2k Dev teams track record isn't good at all or even better than EA. They're on equal grounds(even though EA just blessed us with Star wars). I stop supporting both. I was big in Ultimate team but noticed how terrible it was getting especially in Madden 19. I quit it. Before that I use to play 2K a lot too. I just gave up on both major sports companies.

I assumed the license meant they couldn’t use players, jerseys, teams etc... idk how you can buy the rights for a genre of video game. Not like the NFL owns the rights to the sport of football
