Ari Aster being so divisive is fire it's always great to see someone being so specific to they passion but also hugely successful.

Gotta still see Midsommar but I always found the hereditary hate laughable

I’m as cynical as they come about modern Hollywood but Hereditary was a damn effective movie and Aster displayed he’s one of the only filmmakers, if the only one, who is capable of actually making an effective “elevated horror” movie

KTT stay hating on Ari Aster, but i enjoyed Hereditary & Midsommar more than 90% of the horror films this decade

One thing i noticed with Aster is that most people hating on him don’t even elaborate on why he is supposed to suck

Both of his films are great on a technical level, have good performances from the cast and actually had some very effective scares, which i can’t say about most other horror films
