  • So I don’t usually do this but I need ktt to level w me my state just put me back on the turbo lockdown so I got nothing to do but listen to music n run & that tax return hitting differently so let’s get some takes

Don’t own regular airpods cus sound quality but I rock with the Apple ecosystem the long way so lmk
Do I even consider getting the regular version? I understand the Pros are less convenient
Is there an alternative I should consider?

    I appreciate Ur time . . .

Pro’s are way better that active noise canceling is amazing

Airpod Pros def have better sound quality, but the issue for me in general with bluetooth headphones is the life expectancy. They only last 1 year, then I have to start to get them replaced, then the replacement dies after a year too.

This happened with Wireless Beats and Airpods. I really hope these Pros last longer.

bro honestly I copped the pros and I barely even use it. I use the first AirPods over the pros. To me, the AirPods pros kinda hurt my ears and it feels like they will slip out my ears.

    They’re my daily. Yes

AirPods Pro’s are a no brainer especially if your are in Apples ecosystem. Nothing beats the overall quality and convenience. When iOS 14 drop the AirPods will automatically connect to your different Apple products.

Im listening to music and audiobooks with the pros. Best thing ever.

    Me too

  • if you're looking for active noise cancelling headphones then maybe not but for wireless earbuds, it's your best bet.

  • Aug 4, 2020

yes. the noise cancelling is pretty solid on them too. battery aint a big deal either with the 5 mins of charge for 1 hour extra life

  • Aug 4, 2020

(I just bought pair 2 weeks ago)

  • Aug 4, 2020

@op when you get them, try out the different ear tips. I found that smaller size fit better than the normal.

if you’re looking to save money i’d wait until apple announces the products releasing this year, rumors are they’ll be dropping over-ear airpods soon so the pros might go on sale.

you can get nice wired earbuds from audio technica for cheaper in the meantime too off amazon

They dope but 2 months in my right AirPod started making weird noises, especially when listening to music with bass. Contacted Apple and they replaced it no problem.

Around the same price point you can get the new Technics joints. Or you can drop another 50 bucks and get the Sennheiser ones that blow the Aiprods Pro out the water in everything except call quality and wireless charging.

the pros are basically the modern standard now. they are nice quality for everyday listening and are easy to maintain. Apple did it again.

  • They seem better than the classic AirPods

But I preferred the look of the classic AirPods. The noise cancellation is pretty good but they still have the same problem the first gen had where sometimes they don’t charge when they sit in the case.

But I wore my first gen AirPods to workout a ton and they actually rusted where the battery charger connects, that was after about 1 year. Hopefully these last longer

Yeah they cool, had em for like a month or two now

Only use them when working out or going out. Though when you sweating might have to readjust them a few times throughout
