i'm happy with Let's Dance, but if he kept on putting out projects at this level he would've ruled the 80s

I respect Let's Dance, as a career move and Pop masterpiece, but Scary Monsters was just otherworldly and started the new decade on such a strong note. Just one more! New Wave Bowie > Pop Bowie, but the guy can do it all.
Looking back, I guess I wouldn't mind Bone Thugs-N-Harmony making a continuation of their best album, East 1999 Eternal.
But I also understand that they wanted to evolve their sound and not be stuck making the same dark and gritty content.

imagine him putting out an album full of songs like Fashion or Ashes to Ashes man... i still can't believe that album came out in 1980
At least he was making it at one point
How many leaks we got from this era
Not an album
But I wish we got more of that shmg sound ye was going for

Very controversial pick. Why The Top? Tbh, I can't remember a single song from that album, but I do remember the overall sound being slap-dashed and whimsical. I have to revisit it soon. My vote goes to Wish. It still feels like a summer breeze and songs like High and A Letter to Elise fill me with melancholy but also joy.

im not gonna say it's a perfect album by any means, but the experimenting they did paid off imo. The Caterpillar, Bananafishbones, Shake Dog Shake, the title track... all great tracks imo.
i do agree with you on Wish though, that's a top 3 Cure album for me. i can't wait to get a copy on vinyl when it comes out in the next couple of months
Even if Abel tried I fear he may never be able to top this album but if any album deserves a sequel or similar project it's this one
I trust that the next Keem album will go beyond these heights. Melodic Blue had some good moments, just needs to be cohesive like this project to some degree
