Note: I am fully vaccinated for everything (except COVID). My kids will be fully vaccinated when I have them. I also adhere to all CDC guidelines (mask wearing/social distancing)

I’m assuming this is just a ploy to entice people to get vaccinated (understandably), but nonetheless, the logic makes no sense to me

If you are vaccinated, you are essentially protected from the virus, right?

So why does there need to be vaccinated seating vs unvaccinated seating? Wouldn’t the mixing only harm unvaccinated people, who are not vaxed by choice?

Additionally, kids under 12 can sit in vaccinated seating, even if they are unvaccinated. Kids are huge carriers of viruses, so where is the logic in that?

Even further, you could say this is to protect the vulnerable population who can’t get vaccinated, but they are excluded from everything so they wouldn’t be able to be there anyway, even around vaccinated people, since, you know, since it’s a pandemic and they can’t get vaccinated and can get sick very easily....

And what’s the point of all this when people who are vaccinated now will need booster shots soon anyway (actually likely yearly)

Lastly, you could bring up the argument that vaccines are required for school and some international travel anyway so this is nothing new, but to that I say... since when did we need a vaccine to be treated like a human being, attend a sports game or attend a concert?

If they were so confident in the vaccine, then why can’t vaccinated and unvaccinated people coexist (with unvaccinated people wearing masks of course until the pandemic is stomped out).

Does really no one else see how this logic makes 0 sense?

The vaccine only protects from 95% of the symptoms of the virus if you contract it. You are still very much able to get the virus (though it is not quite as easy to contract). I personally know people that got the virus who were already vaccinated

If this is what's making you get it even less, then you weren't planning on getting it anyway, let's be real

Bro just don’t get it then like you knew this was happening we have had this discussion already. You’ve made and participated in many of these types of threads

If you’re not vaccinated you don’t need to go to Citi Field or travel. Just keep sticking in the pandemic like you already are. We choosing to move on (even if limited)

You do a thread/post of this s*** like every month or two b.

Because those not vaccinated runs the risk of the virus lasting longer and/or evolving past the protection of the current vaccines, if it isnt erradicated enough. Also, vaccines arent a one time thing. There will be a time to re-up, and when that defense goes down then youre threaten again if it isnt stomped out enough.

You do know you can be carriers without symptoms too right?

Also, not all places & people are able to get vaccines yet or maybe ever, & its a global threat. Literally bigger than you or your one country & is a world effort.

Private companies & countries themselves also have the legal right to an extent to make these sort of rules.

People tell you this kind of stuff all the time, the answer & reasoning isnt going to change & you can decide to believe/accept it or not, but it is what it is.

No one cares, just like schools & doctor offices dont care about Karen n her autisim conspiracies, or the certain countries that have always had vaccine requirements for passports dont care bout your feelings outside science as well. Or else we'd have more cases like those idiots skipping flu shots & now bringing back century old diseases that havent been around in forever.

Youre literally just gonna get the same answers as usual, and youre not gonna be satisfied as usual no matter what. Which is fine, but stop bro.

You can decide not to like or accept the vaccine, but you also have to take what comes with those choices like the tinfoil mommys.

Edit: Also, virus restrictions at least in the USA, depends state to state. Blame/talk to your state leaders if its at a level you dont like.

So why are stores allowing vaxxed people to walk around maskless again? My Wegmans is doing that s***, and as far as I can tell, you don't need proof of vaccination to walk in there without a mask. New wave coming soon smh

it’s not entitlement, i want answers to these logical inconsistencies. unvaccinated kids are allowed to around vaccinated people, yet they are known spreaders of covid

it’s just like wearing masks in restaurants (which i do and always have done since they told us to). what is the mask in the restaurant doing? everyone takes it off once they get to the table anyway, and then everyone is stewing in whatever aerosols are coming out of peoples lungs

Every flu shot or vaccine isnt a 100% miracle blanket of protection nor has it ever been claimed. Just like anti bacteria soap & products.

But as you said, it makes it way harder to get. And it will get harder n harder to get as every year passes as long as most gets the shots.

Thats the literal point until it becomes non or near nonexistent. Thats always been the point since early 1900s.

your point about the continued spreading could make variants resistant to the vaccine makes sense, so i get that, but it doesn’t take away other logical inconsistencies with this vaccine

the fact is, we should have just stuck it out awhile longer with testing the vaccines before trying to fully open back up

heart inflammation, blood clots, and who knows what else is occurring in people getting them

they are only approved for emergency use

i’m fine with waiting until they are fully FDA approved, i just don’t get how people don’t see the flaws in this

these logical inconsistencies makes me question the confidence the government has in the vaccine even less

Probably the least convincing reason not to get the vaccine I've ever heard or read.
