I’ve never had roommates before I started grad school (did my undergrad while still living at home to save $$$), so maybe this is more the norm, but is it unusual for a roommate to seem to go out of their way to not engage/ not help people out?
Couple examples:
Dude will make dinner and have a sink full of his dishes (totally ok, we all do this at times). When he gets around to doing the dishes, if there’s even one fork in there that isn’t his, he’ll leave it.
We all share a trash can and recycling in the kitchen. One time I seen this dude picking his own recycling out of the bin to take out to the dumpster.
There’s a couple more examples I can’t think of rn and also the fact that this dude will ignore me if we’re both in the living room (even did this on the first day, I had to be like hey man I’m _ your new roommate).
Is this a somewhat common roommate trait or is this guy on a watch list somewhere?
The not interacting is probably just dude being introverted or shy or something, that may change in time when you get to know each other better. All the other stuff is hime being a d***.

I’m about ready to give up man I feel like a b**** trying to greet dude and be socialable with him and he gives me like 1 word answers. It’s been like 2 months lmao
I don’t advise being petty, but some people deserve it
Start taking a full dump in his trash can

I’m sick af thought about spitting in this mans soup last night but that was a little too far
Lmao
Imagine inconveniencing yourself into seperating trash instead of just doing the entire thing yourself in less than a minute
yeah he's doing the most, id plan on switching roommates and not acknowledging his existence
imo a roommate that doesn't want to talk is way better than one that is too buddy buddy.
Roommate =/= Friend. Idk I would stay your next roommate could easily be worse.
I'm not trying to make this guy my friend, but I've felt closer to a parking valet than this guy I've lived with for 2 months
sounds like the type of guy to call the RA because you brought a girl over and are being "too disruptive"
just wait until he starts leaving you passive agressive notes to clean up your mess!
B**** THE TIME TO WRITE THAT NOTE YOU COULDA CLEANED THE WHOLE APARTMENT
