I've been drawing maybe 17 years and self-taught. I use Procreate and I just play around with whatever brushes look nice and seem fitting.

What a coincidence, I used Procreate to make the pic in op too. That was my first time using it, great program. You use an iPad too? And if so what model I've been thinking about upgrading from my 2016 Pro

i use the 2018 pro. still works really great, but i might upgrade next year as well since the storage is getting tight.
