S*** always crashes on me a bunch smh and it always takes me so long to set up the mixer to where I don't hear myself while recording,(doesn't always do it the first try) then I start losing all kinds of ideas/bars cause I'm too busy tryna get it to work right.
I've found that audacity is so much simpler to record the rough vocal and then just send that over by itself to FL because I prefer it's plugins and mixing effx etc.
Idk what are y'alls thoughts on FL? Am I the only one who feels that way? Cause I'll prolly be doing this method with audacity for the long term, even though it feels kind of amateurish lol. I still think it sounds good tho
You can set it so you can't hear yourself recording, you just gotta turn down the volume on the channel you got the mic attached to
yeah. I just use audacity to record then move the record file to FL after for mixing

What kinda computers yall using bruh I use a s***ty toaster ass laptop and it never crashes, I do use a f***ing gaming headset to record tho lmao
works fine for me. if its crashing, thats because your computer sucks most likely or u have a cracked version of FL
its always noob producers hating on different DAWs. u never hear anybody good talking about which DAW is best because they know that it doesn't f***ing matter
Try to google/youtube some stuff about recording in FL like settings. Maybe your s*** is not set up right
