    That used to be my whole childhood fam. The illustrations were beautiful too. I still own all the books to this day

    this series literally helped to save my mental health in 2017-2018.
    it's one of the reasons why I tell people to read children's books,

    it's goat tho. wou;dn't have re read it if not for reading it in childhood.

    I've recently revisited this series (when i made the thread) and about to start with the last series now.. haven't read the 3rd series since a child. This feels so weird but it's still hella fun to read even if it's childish at times.

    Wish this had movie adaptions like Harry Potter had :(

    I never got around to reading them. I thing I read some of one of them.

    They are dirt cheap nowadays. It's def worth picking up if you feel nostalgic about the series. At least the first 7 books are a must read. One day imma be reading these to my kids

    I read all of them in Gr.9 (we'd have a reading hour and my teacher had them in her little library), man those were good times

    EDIT: okay so apparently there's more than one series? I read the one that had 7 or 8 books

    after that it was just a mashup of darkness horror and fairy tales.
