Nah I think they’re referring to you being a security guard. But they could be talking about another type of job with them. You can potentially get a security guard position in the $15+ range while literally doing nothing but putting on a uniform and acting like you aren’t on your phone all the time.

I did it years ago. At the one out here in Texas, they literally had us take the test in their office. They had packets with the answers in them and just had us copy them onto the test. License came in the mail shortly after.
If you’re interested, you may want to just check it out and see if something similar is happening where you stay.

I wish I could paid extra money as I’ve been working literally the entirety of this pandemic. It almost feels like a planned wedge to drive the lower class people (relative to the well off) against each other tbh

It's the extra 600 thats pushing wages higher than before. Unemployment without that 600 is p trash. Do you work 40 hours a week?? If you work less than that or your hours got cut you couldve got that 600 too. If I was working at the time I would've asked them to reduce my hours.

theyve already lied about its causing people to not want to work (bullshit logic if you simply look at the number of people currently looking for work vs people actually being hired) and causing the working class to fight among themselves instead of directing their anger at the ppl paying them starvation wages in the first place.

That’s been my thinking as of late too. I’m not well invested in politics but the $600 almost feels so arbitrary that they just threw out a number that they knew would be realistic enough to piss a bunch of people off. It’s honestly amazing sometimes I can’t tell if they’re completely incompetent or masterminds there’s no in between

the ruling class is very good at waging class war, but im pretty sure theyd rather just have not given unemployment benefits to this degree, but if theyre going to you can bet theyd use it to their advantage in one way or another.

I actually quit my job like a week before the virus was first in China so I kinda f***ed myself there, actually nvm I was 17 at the time and my dad claimed me on his taxes so I wouldn't be able to get unemployment
