I just got a job offer for HR. I've heard it's pretty cake and it pays surprisingly well. As far as I know it's just being a recruiter. Anyone have experience in this field?
A lot of HR jobs require that you have a degree in a HR related field, so this could be a good alternative foot in the door if they're not asking for those requirements.
@op
Did I tell you what Kathy in receiving did to me ???
She made me really uncomfortable

They are not. I have a degree in a separate field entirely. But good foot in the door.

Precisely, one of them dumbass paradox fields where In order to get a job you need experience, and all the experience is jobs; and if u graduate with a degree in hr but have no experience, then you have a hard time getting a job.
Meanwhile, startups (solar companies) and booming companies like Amazon are hiring outside and training within to fill entry hr roles held by employees w/o a degree in hr- but it leads to the sr management position all the same
Which makes school look like a decelerate option to hr these days
Take the job, but make sure you learn/ develop actual skills that you can translate into cash

All HR isn’t snitching on ppl. It could be working with donors/ funders, it could be scholarship work with schools, it could be D/I work
It’s probably u snitching on ppl, but it could be other stuff too
Aye man turn up or slide outta there lol
