On the debate stage all they do is attack each other and make themselves look bad

They rarely talk about real policies, and opt to pander, and push PC talking points instead of talking about facts and policies.

They talk about Trump, they talk about each other’s wrong doings, but they don’t dig harder into why we should even vote for them

They honestly look like fools up there and it’s unfortunate.

That’s really why I liked Yang. He didn’t pander. He didn’t play the game of trashing the other candidates, he stuck to his policies and brought up good points.

They set themselves up to lose the second they tried to impeach. It’s like hitting a bee hive with a baseball bat

But that shouldn’t be the point.

What they are doing is telling people why they shouldn’t vote for one another instead of why someone should vote for themselves.

The debate should be about policy. Not a candidates paste from 20-30 years ago or any other bullshit

  • Feb 20, 2020

and of course they’re in it to lose. It behooves the Establishment Dems to lose this election and have 4 more years of Trump than have a partywrecker like Bernie

  • Feb 20, 2020

Do I really have to explain that examining someone’s past record on racial issues and sexual harassment NDAs is valid and fair play to bring up in the course of them running for President? and that a person’s past is indicative of the type of principles they ascribe to...?

Do I have to explain that this is the part where they try to get the nomination and then afterwards they will rally behind a candidate?

Its a primary, this is what its for. The Republican Primary was even more contentious last time.

The only way they screw themselves is if they let Super delegates rob Bernie at the convention.

Hillary led Trump by 7 points 3 weeks before the election. In April of 16, she led by 15 points.

Right but the republicans aren’t in the spotlight this time because they have a sitting president.

The same would apply to them if they were in the same position as the democrats.

Arguing policy doesn’t hurt them, that’s my point. They are hardly arguing or presenting or explaining their policies, they are just pandering and attacking each other.

They are literally just saying what they think people want to hear, and then not do anything they are promising.

They are pandering for black and LGBTQ votes, but won’t do anything for those communities lol

She was also universally disliked, in the middle of an e-mail scandal that escalated right before voting, and still won the popular vote by 2%. This is Bernie's margin while he's being sabotaged by the media in a primary full of negative coverage or just outright ignored.

Right; Hillary won the popular vote. Bernie could win the popular vote by 10 points if places like California and New York had a massive turn out for him. But he’s gotta win back Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania specifically. In head to head polls he leads Trump in MI by 4.7 and PA by 2.6, but Is losing in WI by .7.
To put that in perspective, in 2016, the final poll averages had Trump losing Wisconsin by 6.5 (won by .7), losing Michigan by 3.6 (won by .3) and losing PA by 2.1 (won by .7).

He was down by 12 in MI 3 weeks before Election Day, down by 10 in PA, and 12 in WI.

People may say they’re fully behind their parties nominee on a poll, but not show up to actually vote if they don’t really believe in the candidate. 2/3rds of dems saying they don’t want a socialist on the ticket does not indicate huge turnout is on the horizon for Bernie.

Bernie has the highest floor of support, is leading the polls against primary challengers, is the only one who can win the primary outirght, has the best odds in head-to-head polls with Trump, and has the highest favorability ratings in general, has the best ground game, has the most individual donors, etc etc etc.

    vs

    Your poll about socialism.
