Wanna list them? Because I don’t see that at all and it’s pretty disrespectful to apply this ‘leeway bc he’s black’ narrative to a legitimately consistent af creative- even if you didn’t mean any slight
There’s Miracle at St Anna (for most) and Oldboy, but he has waaaay more good or solid movies than ‘misses’ imo

Nah, his movies are pretty good, some even more than that. Do The Right Thing is a masterpiece in my opinion, not only because of its importance, but also from a filmmaking perspective.
