Hello and welcome to the KTT2 Autism/Asperger’s Syndrome Thread
If you struggle with Autism or Aspergers, feel free to talk about it in the thread with each other. It would make someone’s day to let them know they’re not alone. :) <3
Be very respectful of others while having discussions about their stories too.

Self "diagnosed" or clinically diagnosed? I don't have either myself but might help to specify.
I know autism looks different in everybody, but one thing I greatly admire about those mid-high functioning is their ability to hyper focus (or fixate, I guess) on something they're passionate about. It may be a symptom but its a damn valuable one if you find a way to monetize it. I wish I could focus on the things I need to like that.

Moreso clinically, but it wouldn't be bad to take a test on it, just to see if you're diagnosed with it or not.
@Nujabes I need some help formatting
Wym fam

I don't think anyone would want to make themselves the target of bullying here

People with disabilities can't hide away from society forever
I don't think anyone would want to make themselves the target of bullying here
Hopefully mods would ban for that
I've never been socially awkward but I've struggled to read social cues my entire life. My mum tells me that I always speak my mind and she thought it was hilarious when I would unintentionally badmouth peoples houses as a kid when my parents were invited.
was p sure i had it so i took some tests and it confirmed that but still need to see someone but been hard for me to do so tbh
also have adhd and later surprisingly found out it’s common to have both and they’re kinda closely related
My partner at work has aspergers and it was a big adjustment at first but it’s cool now
My therapist from 2 years back said that given my social anxiety and ocd tendencies I may be on the spectrum but I never went to a psychiatrist for an official diagnosis.
I don’t have any proper diagnoses , but I’m definitely not neurotypical so I got love for y’all
