Didnt seem to work, it asked me to choose an account after scanning but there was nothing to choose or input

Idk havent actually used it tbh, I just know its under the "Set Up Verification Code" for a saved account and password

needs multi auth support for the same website

My university forces us to use DUO. So I've been using it for other sites too. It's trash, but does the job.

most secure? hardware key 🔑 Yubikey etc
more secure without hardware? Google it's encrypted to the phone
most convenient? Authy, it uses the open sourced Google 2fa protocol and has a cloud repository

If you're phone data gets wiped/corrupt for whatever reason you're F***ED.

At least with Google authenticator.

that's by design you're suppose to back up the code you scan in (you can print them out even) or the Google authenticator also

but yeah it has to be done manually for security, which is why Authy works fine for most
