whats the difference between the 550 and a 505? isnt the 505 just a 501 with more thigh room? the 550 seems to be the same as the 505

I am extremely anti 550, they taper in a little towards the ankle instead of remaining straight throughout

Edit: Actually taper isn’t really the right word. 550’s are much more baggy and relaxed then 505s but they have same sized leg opening so they look kind baloony

Vintage 550s are a relaxed straight. So super nice leg opening, easy through the whole leg.

They’ve reverted to the relaxed straight as of recent but there’s a variation that exists which is the relaxed taper. Which you should avoid at all costs.
