nothing wrong with securing the bag and waiting until your album is ready before dropping some bullshit you're not satisfied with.
She fell off a while ago
Lemonade was amazing
Hasn’t been great since but we also haven’t got a solo era since either
Soundtrack bag Bey.
iirc beyonce used to publicly state (in interviews) that she wanted an oscar
she couldn't do it with acting so maybe snagging an oscar for a soundtrack ( à la lady gaga) is what she's aiming for?
idk just thinking out loud I guess
edit: just by watching the trailer: that movie sounds and looks boring
Why did my dumb ass think King Richard was about an actual King and not the Williams’ father
I was expecting - cinematic, bombastic visceral experience lol.. I f***ed up by watching that dang trailer.
anyways, intention matters. This is moreso a CHANT ala - “We will Rock You” than a end of movie/big win triumphant soundtrack record that our ears are used to hearing like Listen.
the simple snare/kick candence that’s literally looped.. electric guitar tucked way in the back under the weight of Bey’s wall of sound. Almost like she’s leading a March, the words are repetitive meant to be repeated. It’s different and cool alil when I really think about it and it fits the context of the movie. Especially if it comes on during a training scene.
