TLDR; anime about a guy falling in love with art

there's an anime called Blue Period that's based off of a manga. it's about someone who falls in love with art. they learn the techniques to making great pieces, are pushed to engage with their real feelings, and have to accept & decipher criticisms and compliments. they also struggle with the feelings of quitting but are set alight when they have the passion to continue.

i am really engrossed with it. i think that i relate to the main character when i look back on my process of learning how to create good music. you should definitely check it out if you're into that kind of thing. there's only 5 episodes out so far, but there will be 12 when the show is done airing. it comes out in Japan first, then the U.S. a week later.
