Keef inspired most of my favorite rappers, but his influence bringing drill culture has just been super negative and destructive.

Nowadays murder is the #1 motivation to youngins. Crime has always been around but it was usually over money or women. Now they just killing so they can rap how they smoking their opps.

Keef is one of the most influential figures ever but is that really a good thing?

hip hop is inextricably connected with street life and co, to pin it all on one artist would be absolutely moronic

Drill culture would have happened with or without Keef. We can't pin down an entire culture of crime, glorifying violence and machismo on Keef. You can't even blame rap for it. It's more complex than that.

The headlines and one of quotes are crazy but then when you actually listen to the full clip he’s breaking down the issue w 100% truth no filter

  • if you trace it back, Keef is the reason Kanye played a song about GDs during his album (about his mom)’s listening party

Chief Keef was a young, lost African American youth who during his lowest moment woke up to reality. For you to blame the mishaps of the community on him is very bad as that young black man grew up in the span of 2 years all in the limelight. He left Chicago by 2014 and exited gang life after Big Glo, his cousins, death.
Go look at your mayor and city officials if you want to start throwing blame at the failing of community
