Something about this looks stinky but I can’t place it. I like some of the armor designs tho

They sold us on a cool Guardians Of The Galaxy single player clone with the CGI cut scenes then gave us an overwatch clone that will be dead in under a year

i'm surprised that the general reception for this game is so negative. not that i think it looks great, but what else were people expecting? it was already known that this was gonna be a live service shooter and that basically means either pve, extraction, battle royal or hero shooter. sony already has helldivers so it wasn't gonna be pve, bungie is working on marathon so it wasn't gonna be extraction, the battle royal craze isn't anywhere near the height it was once at, so all that leaves is a hero shooter. again, doesn't look great and i don't have any interest, but i feel like this was the most obvious outcome given the state of sony's multiplayer offerings??

Some people weren't tapped in on it and the trailer did mislead with a pointless narration portion for zero reason

It's also just popular to hate on hero shooters after OW and the rest that have came and gone. We saw PC players hating on that new valve game before even giving it a chance. I think if gameplay is good then you have a fun shooter. That's what matters most with multiplayer shooters.

It's the derivativeness of writing combined with the derivativeness gameplay. If it plays great, all is forgiven though.

If you really look at the gameplay, it's fundamentally just Destiny 2 since the studio is ex Bungie Devs

Im sure Sony will put the team on Destiny 3 when Concord disappears after a month.
