  • So I'm trying to use my Sony wf1000xm3's with my PS5. I bought this
but I couldn't get the headphones to pair. Do I need to pair them to the dongle on a laptop first?

The Bluetooth only works if you have the playstation brand headphones I thought? All the videos I've seen so far say you need a dongle

Damn your right - I just looked it up

I use a Bluetooth keyboard with my ps5 and it works but it seems it's only the audio they've restricted

To be honest I plug my headset in my controller so Im not familiar with setting the Bluetooth audio up

  • Have the same headphones and was wondering if I could get them set up on Xbox one

  • Just copped this off AliExpress I've heard it works with this aliexpress.com/item/1005001350620527.html

    Sony and Nintendo suck lol

what year is it, their still putting out new consoles without universal Bluetooth audio

I know Microsoft doesn't support a lot of headsets but at least they support some

  • Update: I couldn't pair the dongle to the headphones while the dongle was hooked up to the PS5. Tried to pair while connected to my Mac, then I realized ASUS doesn't provide driver downloads for MacOS I'm returning the dongle and buying wired headphones

They're really nickel and diming on these consoles I was hoping to move my Xbox one S to the bedroom but the PS5 doesn't have an HDMI in port for my cable box.. running my cable through the Xbox is clutch since it makes the picture slightly better, and more importantly makes the volume for TV programs and commercials the same! Series X doesn't have an hdmi in port either
