I've been looking forward to it because I read Norman Partidge's 2006 novel which is great. It got pushed back in 2022. Hopefully this isn't more Riverdale / Stranger Things trash. It's got an R rating at least.
In a cursed town, the annual harvest becomes a brutal battle for survival. On Halloween 1963, Sawtooth Jack, a terrifying legend, rises from the cornfields, threatening the town’s children. Groups of boys unite to defeat the murderous scarecrow before midnight.
30 days of night is wild underrated
I can never remember what even happens in it, but I've seen it twice and would watch it again lol. Brutal horror in the Alaskan night. What a vibe

it was one of the last of "those" types of movies from "that" era that flew way too under the radar.
Wait, the guy who did Hard Candy is doing this? The movie with Elliott Page?
Am I misremembering that movie as waaaaay more competently directed that this seems to be?
