So I’ve never played the OG one. How good is this s***? I’m on sekiro, ER, and SD1 rn

It's still good and worth a shot if you enjoyed the others, has some cool unique mechanics they never returned to, but also some really dumb stuff that I'm glad they got rid of later, like in addition to equipment load there's a limit to how much inventory you can carry at one time, you actually have to use the storage box to make sure you've got room left
The remake is still gorgeous and really immersive though, combat feels fantastic, it's easier in some ways than the rest but harder in others, if you liked DS1 it basically feels like a prototypical version but with seperate worlds instead of one big interconnecting one, which has its own unique charms
I think I've messed up somewhere, I've only beaten 1 archdemon but I've made it to the entryway in front of the final boss
Beat the Storm King first try without realising the sword was there, so I just took like 20 minutes doing chip damage against him with spells
Does anyone know why my dude never backstabs?

Bruh out of all the bosses I beat, I died like 20 times to the dragon king and that's not even a real boss fight
My crescent falcon is +2 and it took like 4 hits just to knock the boulders down which was impossible to do and hide again from the dragon
I go on YouTube and nobody mentioned hey just use your magic! Even the f***in girl who I followed to create the magic build
I noticed they also had the same weapon I had and were able to knock the boulders down in only 2 hits does that mean I need my strength up? I also notice my compound long bow upgrade +4 only does 2 damage when hitting a target
This really has the easiest bosses but I loved it. Great game and entry to the souls genre.
My mom told me i aint s*** my teachers told me i aint s***
but i beat my first souls game!
should i play dark souls 3 next or elden ring?

Dark Souls Remastered
Dark Souls 3
Bloodborne
Sekiro
Elden Ring
That's the order I'd do them in. But definitely save ER for last

Do Elden Ring and work backwards if you don't want to have the most jarring visual experience since Demons Souls Remake looks x10 better than any souls game
What part you stuck on?
Whole thing. Ended up deleting it to make space for other games
Will come back to it eventually but having to do a whole level again every time you die drove me insane

I feel you, having to run through the whole map again after dying is really hard to get used to if you’ve playing another other souls games.
