Feel like people just nostalgic. I played D2 for a while when I was younger. While it did birth a whole genre of games, for me it was never the best at it.

-barely changed the custom editor
-removed LAN (think they maybe added this in later? not sure, refunded it pretty early)
-lots of bugs and performance issues
-removed ranked ladder
-removed user profiles
-removed custom campaigns
-removed clans
-removed custom chat rooms

pretty sure there's more, but these are the ones I remembered

last diablo game i played was diablo 2 lol

guess the next one will be diablo 2 remastered

D2 is way better than d3 so you will love it

don’t forget they merged classic into reforged so you couldn’t even play the old one anymore

i really hope they don’t botch d2 like they did wc3. if they remove chat rooms, custom games, etc i’m gonna be pissed

blizzard has been wanting to kill old d2 for awhile but they can’t because so many people still play it

i have a feel this remaster will be the excuse to do it

i still play the game like 20 years later

i think it’s the online community that keeps me going tho

as a single player experience it can get rough

it doesn’t look too bad honestly

yep, I'm afraid that they'll put the launcher with DRM so you can't play the massive player mods like Project Diablo 2 or Path of Diablo or Median XL.

would kill the game tbh.
