    Boom Bap never ran rap. It was always present but never dominated sales or the charts.

    Even Nas's biggest album was produced by the same niggas who produced Big Willie Style.

    Maybe you can say it got more spotlight in 2020 than it normally does but it didn't run anything.

    Im not trying to go against your point by any means, but I do think its fun that your example is the guy producing Big Willie Style when Nas, a rapper who’s most enduring releases are over boom bap production styles, wrote Wills biggest hit. Its just a fun coincidence
