I think there is a correlation to it being a pandemic and everyone was inside. No one was out turning up

I personally think boom bap is garbage. But shout goes out to everyone who enjoys it. That鈥檚 beautiful that we are able to enjoy different things.

No cap, my top songs on Spotify Wrapped featured predominantly of Griselda members, Freddie Gibbs and the Alchemist.

Boom Bap never ran rap. It was always present but never dominated sales or the charts.

Even Nas's biggest album was produced by the same niggas who produced Big Willie Style.

Maybe you can say it got more spotlight in 2020 than it normally does but it didn't run anything.

Im not trying to go against your point by any means, but I do think its fun that your example is the guy producing Big Willie Style when Nas, a rapper who鈥檚 most enduring releases are over boom bap production styles, wrote Wills biggest hit. Its just a fun coincidence
