Again, to reiterate, I do not necessarily agree with the tweet in question, but it is interesting to dissect nonetheless.

Does Kanye not care to make perfect music for someone else, so he puts out less than perfect music because financially, it makes sense?

I think he is just making music for fun/making the music he wants to make (not has to make) since he doesn’t have to make music for money anymore (nothing wrong with that)

His last couple albums have definitely been passion projects as opposed to fan service yes, but that's not a conscious effort by Kanye to devalue his music, it means a lot to him personally now even if he doesn't put the same amount of hours in as he previously did
