Now one assault allegation and it's accompanying album later and theres a wave of people riding for him in every thread, saying he got AOTY minutes after his album drops and doing bait threads with ridiculous praise of him. Why?

I don't think we can accurately gauge his popularity boost after just last night. A lot of niggas were just there to clown him. I agree its a good album with good production, but its not THAT good, it's better than NT3 for sure but not by a big amount and it's not better CT5. I don't want to assume anything but I feel like a lot of people are gassing it up based on the context of the album.
