I feel like Bone Thugs don’t get talked about that often anymore.
When the whole ASAP/Raider Klan was coming up that was the last time people would bring them up in a good way. Still, everyone was focusing on the 3 6 Mafia and Houston influence. Ferg gave them props and even worked with them too. That was cool, but that was it.
Bone Thugs are so talented with so much amazing music.
Pac and BIG were big fans.
I just feel like they get left behind when people mention groups, when they shouldn’t at all.
Just wanted to make this thread to appreciate them.
I agree OP. They barely get mentioned these days anymore, feel like Three 6 has overtaken them in status/public perception
Absolutely not. Most of younger gen look at them as a joke after the Migos beef

yeah i think they more influential through + more iconic records + more well known singles

I just feel like all the music Roddy Ricch, Polo G, NBA YoungBoy make is the same stuff Bone Thugs were doing. That soul street music and being melodic.
Then they had their weed anthems, Gospel music and horrorcore stuff which led to beef with Three 6 Mafia.
Sucks most kids will bring up the Migos s***
idk but i need some thugs to bone me
Nah, but they should. You can hear their influence with that melodic stuff today with Polo G and Tjay

Glad I’m not the only that can see the influence with some of the new acts
The only group to collab with Big and Pac when they were both alive. GOAT s***
And Eazy
u been extra sus lately man
lately?
r u gay
arent we all
Last time they had some buzz was their Trap Lord feature
After that they beefed with Migos and dropped boomer disses which wasn't doing them any favors (it's still f*** Migos tho)
Tbh I feel like if BIG and Pac stayed alive Bone Thugz would remain relevant for longer
