i've been listening to their 2000s era recently and i'm loving it a lot, especially the Books EP and Life Pursuit

Push Barman to Open Old Wounds is hands down a top 3 indie comp. nothing but bangers on that album man

Seeing Other People is my favorite song by them, it's so lovely and melancholy even with that chipper, Guaraldi-esque piano pounding away

Life Pursuit is definitely my favorite post-Sinister, the songwriting is up to par with their best and the variety is impressive

There's just something about their early work, idk what it is. When I read that Stuart was suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome at the time of writing Sinister that brought it all into focus for me
