Reasons why I believe Deshaun:

• The timing is super fishy (allegations randomly pop up right after he demands a trade)
• The lawyer who is representing the victims in the lawsuit is supposedly neighbors with and has connections to Bob McNair (owner of the Houston Texans)
• All of the claims are in civil court and there are zero criminal charges filed which makes it seem like a money grab

Reasons why I believe the victims:

• All 13 people lying seems way too unrealistic
• Most athletes only have 1 masseuse so why did Deshaun need 22+ of them (some athletes even exclusively use male masseuses to prevent this from happening)
• Allegedly there are text messages confirming that Deshaun "apologized" for his behavior

Regardless if the allegations are true or not it's one of the craziest sports stories ever. Either he's a sexual predator disguised publicly as a nice dude or this is the biggest smear campaign in human history.

I want to believe he’s innocent because I really like him as an athlete.

That being said, it’s hard to gauge one way or the other without access to all of the evidence.

Whether he’s telling the truth or not his reputation is toast. If this even sniffs the courtroom he’s going to be suspended or maybe expelled from the league. The Zeke saga set the precedent on that under Goodell
