  • It's so common for people to say "oh the cure is out there they just don't want us to have it" I almost find it hard to believe something that groundbreaking could be kept a secret. What y'all think 🤔

No, cancer is too general of a term, cancer is 100s of different diseases that effect all areas of the body differently.

We are also very good at getting rid of cancer, but not good at not destroying the healthy body while doing it.

If anything, we know ways to lower the likelihood of getting cancer due to environmental factors but choose not to address them.

  • in some places they can take a piece of your tumour then slice it up and treat each part with different blends of chemo (theres like 100+) to see which one is the most effective for your particular type, then they treat you with the best one (obviously). dana white told me this

The point being access to medical care and other variables which ensure a long and healthy life is so stratified that you don't need to form a conspiracy. It's unnecessary.

Besides, I think any oncologist would tell you cancer is just what happens to the body over a long enough timeline. It's tricky to address every instance of it, and even if you could, your brain will simply decline.

  • nah and hate the conspiracy of it

  • it doesnt make sense to me why it would be suppressed. cause if you are taking the conspiracy approach to it, the people who would be able to work / live because they have the cure to cancer would far outweigh any sort of profit being made from researching cancer

  • i feel like there probably could be a cure for cancer eventually, but the pharmaceuticals who didn’t develop maybe try and block it to not lose out on treatment profits

however, who knows, because they could also just emulate the non-proprietary parts of the cure and make their own

  • Also there are surely a lot of initiatives that if funded could lead to new discoveries

  • But we all know how that goes

  • Cancer is used as a broad term when there are many different types of cancers which probably come with their own unique set of challenges and potential cures
