Usually one Non-Fiction then I'll balance it with either a fiction book or some poetry.

It's best to engage both sides of your brain that way.

I'm doing this all the time and I feel like it's my biggest reading vice 😩 not just two or three either, I got like 7 atm and it's been worse

makes it very hard to finish one thing.

But also rn for example I'm reading The Maltese Falcon and concurrently an academic book on Critical Theory and Film Noir and that's kinda hard. It's usually like this, I just start multiple books on the same overall topic, and then at some point I concentrate on finishing one.

I focus on one at a time

If I stop readin a book to read another one, the first books on total freeze out until I get done with the new one.

I usually have three books in rotation. Mostly fiction, but I love good biographies and I’ll usually have one in the mix.

Right now I’m reading The Book of the New Sun, IT and Moby D***.

I’ve also got a few books on my phone that I come back to from time to time but I generally don’t like reading digitally, although it comes in handy. I’ll usually open one of those when I’m at my computer thinking and listening to music to see if it gets an idea going. Or I’ve been camping with no room in my pack for a book.

Just one, but every now again I'll go back to a book if I want to check/remember something(mostly with non-fiction)

I usually am reading 2-3 books of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry at the ‘same time’

It’s nice to get the different types of writing

  • Dec 31, 2021

But as far as my own reading list goes, I really like to enjoy one book at a time.
