    If so, which one?

  • Jul 3, 2020

    I used to use ESET Nod back in the day, then when I got a new laptop I had a year trial of McAfee so I rocked with that

    That just ended so I’m rocking windows defender which has consistently gotten better over the years

  • nah .. I havent for a long time

    Norton on the main drive
    Windows defender on my 2nd boot drive

    Detection is about on par. Defenders UI is f***in garbage tho. Whitelisting, changing firewall rules. All a pain in the ass with defender.

    nope

    using computers raw

    seriously though i look thru processes and look for weird stuff and remove things if something gets installed

    anti virus is a pain and wastes system resources, i just use the built in firewalls in mac os + windows

    the built in defender that comes with wndows 10 is fine for most normal pc users. and if you're using your common sense when browsing the internet then you should be fine without third party anti virus software

  • I read that malware developers test their viruses against anti-viruses so that they can't be detected

  • Jul 4, 2020

    No. If it’s free they selling your data and I’m not paying for that s***.
