I was just showering and washing my armpits and there is a huge lump under my left armpit and it's very sensitive to touch. Please help

  • Aug 26, 2022

I've had that happen. It went away.

I'm no doctor but if you're concerned it wouldn't hurt to see one.

  • cancer, it was nice knowing you @Danny. For real go to an actual doctor bro

Were you sick recently ? Could be a swollen lymph node.

Sounds like a swollen lymph node, worth getting it checked up on, hopefully it's not and it very likely won't be, but it can be a sign of cancer, but more benign explanations are the reason waaaaay more of the time

It's definitely worth seeing a doctor if it doesn't go down after 2 weeks, but maybe go before anyway just in case, though don't worry too much, it's probably due to a cold, infections or glandular fever, cancer is much much rarer

Doctors have only let me down the past few years, so now I do indeed turn to KTT2 when it comes to medical advice. I hope that's ok

    Lymph node

Goes away by itself in most cases, if it remains after two weeks or so go to the doctor

Can you move the lump around? if you can it's a enlarged lymph node, since you're sick I would give it a few weeks to go back down

If you can't move it, it's like a inflamed cyst since it's painful, keep it clean and let it drain in the shower etc.
