  • Looking to change mine bc right now it sucks

    My schedule changes a lot bc I work in retail but I'm normally asleep by 1/2 and awake by 9, though I stay in bed for almost an hour some days before I actually get up

    I hear about people who wake up at like 5 am and have time to jog or work out or read or make breakfast before the day really starts I'm tryna be more like that

    pls share your morning routine and any tips

  • wake up
    shower (after lift if not working)
    eat breakfast
    if not working then gym (shower after)
    if working then work, gym, eat, shower, repeat

    wake up

    alarm an hour and a half before work

    snooze for 15 more min

    snooze for 15 more min

    browse my phone

    oh f*** its 7:15

    quickly run innto the shower

    take a 3 min shower

    brush my teeth and s***

    get changed mad fast

    grab a quick breakfast bar to eat

    run out the house and go 90 on the highway to work

    arrive 5 minutes late

    yeah usually just wake up roll weed, read a chapter or two from whatever i鈥檓 reading and then start getting ready for the day

    I'm up at 6am

    first thing I do is feed the cat and make a cup of coffee

    then I either sit inside or if its warm enough out on the front porch and drink my coffee and rock the daily wordle and quordle while listening to some nice jazz chunes

    then when the coffee starts hittin its time to start s***tin

    then I spend the next hour or so doing a little movement to wake my body up, maybe a walk around the neighborhood or some yoga along with a little 10 min meditation as well as some reading

    around 8 I whip up my breakfast and take my vitamins

    then it's off to work around 8:45

    Alarm goes off at 5am (to get ready to go to the gym)
    I end up not going

    Snooze till 6am (to get ready and eat breakfast and do my exercise at home since I missed the gym)

    Snooze till 6:55am( to get ready and not rush and also to possibly beat traffic by leaving a lil bit early)
    I end up not doing that

    Snooze till 7:10 am

    I get up regretting not doing what I planned to do.
    Get ready
    Heat up my oatmeal In my cup.
    Leave in a rush like always
    Stress cuz traffic is a B**** and I feel like I'ma be late (every other day I swear someone crashes).

    Our parking spot is like deadass 5 min away from our building.
    I park
    Speed walk to work (and it's going up a slight hill)
    And punch in 3 min early

    This is the current limbo I'm in.
