The action of purchasing alone is not thrilling, its actually kind of annoying

I read that article too
It depends, clothes make me feel good whenever I put them on and sharing a meal with friends is some of the best money I’ve ever spent but stuff like tech makes me feel hollow
I love clothes too, they are an amazing way to express our individuality. But I do have a problem with the fast fashion industry and the way people are conditioned to constantly follow trends, instead of investing in quality and timeless pieces.
Only fast fashion stuff I have is like Uniqlo stuff but usually they make pretty nice clothes that aren’t destroyed in a week
what is happiness? it's a moment before you need more happiness
man
No. I like the relief from immediate needs and wants and I like finding new ways to express myself, but neither of these things intrinsically involves a purchase
If I buy like something I can wear the happiness wears off quick
I get more confidence/security than happiness
