"There's 3 balls and a strike
Here's the pitch
It's belted deep to center, Revere goes back
jumps at the wall, and it's gone!"
That classic baseball intro
"I hate stoppin' for gas this late
'Cause there's niggas creepin and not like how we're creepin'"
Then that beat change at the end makes listening to this song late at night so reminiscent. I remember when I first heard Connect. I was chilling doing some work in HS and I kept running the song back to back. That classic instrumental makes me want to take a trip to Nevada and just drive down the road alone in the desert late at night. I can just image driving down the long desert road, while the moon shines bright, and seeing the sky filled with stars.
fav drake sing
My uncle said “you drive my whip like it’s yours” I got the pedal to floor
I’m on my muthafuckin way SWANGIN
When that intro come back on it reminds me of freshman year of high school, riding the bus at like 6:30am. Driving all around the city when it was still dark out....
Man, what a vibe
Wish you would learn to love people and use things, and not the other way around
Top 3 on NWTS
Unfortunately for me, I made a connection with the song waay after NWTS came out.
I started enjoying it after Views came out. So no.
