The patriarchy is the main reason for male mental illness? Am I missing the point here??
i wouldnt say that its only patriarchy, but most mental health problems that men blame women for, are direct results of patriarchy

More specific?
Yes it's patriarchy, but let's not act like women don't also hold unfair expectations for men that have detrimental effects on the mental health of men and that it's just the fault of men.
It always annoys me how behaviors that fall under toxic masculinity are framed as individual failures of men, as if society's expectations (and yes women are also part of society) have nothing to do with it.

Yep. Nice take

like everything that is "expected" as a man
e.g all the traits of masculinity (no emotions, strong, not feminine, etc)

But are we just gonna act like it's just men who hold these expectations for eachother?
It makes no sense to just blame it on women because you've experienced a woman expecting you to do these things, that would be missing the bigger picture, but it makes no sense to ignore the fact that many women do hold these types of views on men either.
