About two weeks ago I was feeling really down, suicidal even. And I’ve tried to jump off a parking facility before so I’m afraid of how serious I can get, no Gary Oldman. But I had just got a paycheck that day so me, alone in the night on my bed in prone position, ready to beat my sorrows away (and my meat) I said F*** THAT -
Then I needed a way to get rid of those thoughts right there in the moment, so I donated $600 to an unnamed kid with a dream who was trying to get out of a s***ty home situation. A little while ago today those feelings crept back up so I gave a bag of my old clothes to a random homeless guy (shoutout Charles Hamilton)
When I tell you this s*** feels amazing and I instantly come out my rut, I mean it. The moral of the story is: if you can give back do so. If you feel down and out just randomly, then think about how you can take that darkness inside and turn it into light for others. I know it’s cliche but it’s real
Real af
Good for you man. But considering there have been people that have been killed or slighted by the same they do good for, Idk if I agree
Id love to be mrbeast how he just drops insane amounts of money on people it's inspiring af
Yeah i saw a vid saying that he's exploitative because giving people that kind of money isn't sustainable because once they run out they will go back to their old lifestyles & may not be able to afford the fancy car or house they got from mrbeast & I kinda agree with that but also he is actually helping people out as well so I can't be against him for that

It’s a risk I have been glad and fortunate enough to take. There’s more purpose I’m creating since I don’t wanna be alive 70% of the time so hey why not lol

How does he do it exactly, there seems to be controversy around it

Idk exactly but I think he plans the videos with sponsors who fund the videos in exchange for in video ads. He also makes money from merch
That kid when he got that notification knowing that his PS5 is now secured
Lmao but no no this is a good kid. Gonna be very successful one day, already on the path too

Lol but I feel you though, I've just recently started complimenting random people that I see on the street or when i'm at work. You never really know what some people are going through and something as simple as "Yo that jacket is nice man" can make their day a little bit better

Yeah this is a slippery slope. And in some instances maybe the person doesn’t want their living conditions to be exposed?
