    Doja took Tinashe's spot while being the literal polar opposite of tinashe. Tinashe did the ultra-calculated pop star s*** for years and still crashed and burned. Collabed with Schoolboy q, Chris brown and tried to ride in on the tumblr alt-girl aesthetic of 2011-2013. When that didn't work she tried to switch it up her style to what ever was popular and still got clowned on social media for it. Meanwhile doja cat was a walking meme for years and still blew up. Type of s*** that makes your soul burn slow, music industry is a b****.

    if tinashe had doja's persona and character I'd root for her even more.

    It's simple. The Pop Lane fits who Doja truly is more than it does Tinashe.

    Tinashe is much more in line with R&B from what Ive heard.

    Tbh to even call Doja a "rapper" is inaccurate compared to the music Ive heard from her in the past.
