Especially young people which are progressives and make up about 15% of the democratic left, dont vote.
Black voter turnout is also low the last few elections for Democratis while the black voter turnout amongst republicans has been growing the last few elections

frank 2022prolly the 2 party system in general. its gonna become real transparent that both sides are working for the same people and the disagreements are made up as an excuse to never do anything for the average citizen.

But it is essentially a one party system. Not that it would change with several parties. That's just the climate ya'll have in politics over there.
