    Think I made a thread for this on KTT1 I was going thru his youtube beat vids again n i forgot about that, but anyways:

    • Jake One the GOAT had a beat tape going around & Drake originally claimed the "Mo Money" beat but didnt finish anything to it for months. Cole claimed a few beats from the tape including the beat for his song "3 Wishes" on the Jake tape, but he also wanted "Mo Money". Jake One said cool but Drake claimed it already a while ago lemme see whats up. Drake said let Cole have it since Im (Drake is) just holding it & yall can get your business n work together.

    @1:05 - 2:35

    Mo Money

    3 Wishes

    Another tidbit he mentions is that the beat to the "Success" song by Wale was also from his same beat tape that Cole n Drake was also picking thru:

    His youtube page is very dope n gives a lot of insight on the connect along with the beat making.

    He has s*** for Acid Rain by Chance, Dope D*** by Rick Ross, Future's Lookin Exotic, Westside Gunn, Nipsey Hussle etc.

    But yeah s*** is interesting. One of few producers that are so open about everything that are truly in the industry.

    His catalog is crazy & he's amazing at both sides of producing, BOTH original & sampling & most his beats are a big combine of the two, & he's produced so many songs you wouldnt even think.

    Bro is crazy good while being so lowkey even tho he got placements n classics out the ass from the underground to the mainstream to the modern to the old.

    Im telling u bro he is out here like crazy but so humble lmao n able to fit many pockets

    The main characteristics of hisbeats tho is that theyre usually percussion heavy, have simple kick/bass patterns & almost ALWAYS have some type of vocal layer like a choir or a singer chop etc.

  • This is just reaffirmation that Drake and J Cole need to do a tape together

    He's been one of my favs forever, especially for "newer" producers during the 2010s. And he does damn near everything SOLO

    Jake One, DJ Dahi, Sounwave, Southside & HitBoy

    BRO MADE 3Kings

    N look at all this other s*** just on his breakdown yt channel:

    Him n Drake did link up a few more times, he made Furthest Thing as well:

  • vast aire not great but always loved this beat and i feel like this is him trying to shake off the clunky beats he was used to
