This isn’t a knock on Drake because Will had a great career as a rapper. You can argue Will has more timeless classics in his bag over Jay. Will's rapping career didn’t last long because at the time hip hop was so geared into hardcore gangsta raps. Now, the rap game has changed so much that Drake can use Will’s formula in the second phase of his career and make it last.

More timeless is a weird thing to argue cause either it’s timeless or it isn’t, most of RD and Blueprint are the definition of timeless. Will has a handful of timeless joints like that one but a lot of his stuff is well known to have aged kinda iffy, either being too much like the simple 80s rap style or just being kinda corny like wild wild west
