i agree with rasec about it being a callback to songs like Life Is Good and even Never Recover with Virgil sending him exclusive pieces

I'm not sure if he's speaking in a romantic sense or business/partnership sense because of the way the first line builds up.

I honestly thought he was saying "I cant just be with you I'm owning you" at first and it still sounds more like that to me and makes more sense in context with the lines. Maybe a flex of status/reminder to peers? Maybe a reference to Jordan being the goat and an owner of a team? Dude dominates the industry the way MJ dominated league, plus the whole Nocta/Jordan nike affiliation.
