It is beautiful and there’s so much to do here but it’s expensive and there is a dark underbelly. My particular job unfortunately I see that side of it, I see the huge labour accommodation camps. The migrant workers by the thousands etc. The people here are super nice though and very friendly. All the road signs/customer service etc is in Arabic and English. There really isn’t much of a begging culture here, it happens but police are very strict on it. Everyone here generally works hard here, especially in this heat, whew. The Labourers work insanely hard and sacrifice their lives/dreams to send money back home.
But the beaches and attractions and generally quality of life is good for an average/above average earner and accommodation is cheap.

The city at night is like Bladerunner and looks unreal.
