The next chapter in the saga builds off the original trilogy, rather than the 2013 reboot, and moves the action out of the woods and into the city. The twisted tale centers on two estranged sisters, portrayed by Alyssa Sutherland and Lily Sullivan, whose reunion is cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable.

Watch the first two for sure they're classics, you can skip Army of Darkness tho. It has some good moments & a great ending but the movie is pretty bad tbh.
ash vs evil dead was evil dead 2 sequel
army of darkness is a different universe than evil dead 2
so this could be sequel to 1 of the army of darkness endings
I watched all of these in 2020.
Just gonna look at it as:
1st 3 films in a straight line, then it splits off 3 ways for random stories. Remake or Ash or this new movie its all the same. Bring on the blood showers and spooky voiced zombie ghoul demons
