Anyone played this series? I never played it but always loomed pretty interesting I know it's from the guy thst directed re4 originally I believe if that's not mistaken. It's on psn for like 6 bucks I'm thinking about it.

Worth it for $6, I had a great time playing through even though I wasn’t a big fan of the first game. There’s some pretty interesting ideas and visuals all the way through. Plus if you have a ps5 it runs at basically a locked 60

First one is pretty damn creepy but plays like crap, if you're into horror games it's worth it though. You'll get used to the jank within a few hours. Second one controls much better, but is considerably less scary. Still a good game though. They're both solid B grade games that you won't be thinking of much after completion, but will enjoy while you're playing.

i played these games before i touched RE and it takes a lot from it especially that first evil within game

the 2nd feels different and its pretty fun if i remember correctly & for 6 bucks that's not too bad

Thanks for the replies yall. Even though I never touched these kinda just had a feeling the 2nd wasn't as scary, perhaps maybe more exploration/action focused and if so then that's right down my ally. The graphics look really good on the 2nd game

I got it for free a while go but haven’t touched it yet cause i’m easily spooked it looks aesthetically cool tho so im sure it’ll be a good time

I can’t really imagine just buying the 2nd without playing the first. I am I sure they are both dirt cheap might as well just get both

I think 1 can be a little intense/intimidating for some people especially if they’re not used to playing survival horror games, 2 is more cookie cutter but also more approachable. Plus if you’re playing on next gen 2 runs at 60fps while 1 is still a pretty sloppy 30

Been meaning to get this and the 1st one since like 2017

Gotta play the first one to make the second one that much better still one of my favorite moments ever in gaming
